Member registration information

 

Q. Can I only make an order if I register as a member?

A. You can make an order even if you are not registered as a member.

We recommend that you register as a member (for free) so that you can enjoy a smooth shopping experience at our store.

You can enjoy a smoother shopping experience by not having to type in your delivery address the next time you make an order (Only if you have registered your delivery address beforehand).

 

Q. I want to register as a new member.

A. Click on the link below and you will be taken to the member registration screen.

Q. I forgot my password.

A. Please reset your password.

Reset your password by first clicking on the link below and typing in the email address registered with your account. A password reset notification will be sent to that email address. Please check that email and reset your password.

Q. What can I do by registering as a member?

A. You can check your order history at your My Page. You can also enjoy a smoother shopping experience by not having to type in your delivery address the next time you make an order if you added your address and delivery destination when you registered as a member.

 

 

Purchasing information

 

Q. I didn’t receive an email after I made my purchase.

A. Emails for order confirmations will be made ‘Within two business days’ and replies to inquires will be made ‘Within five business days’.

If you have not received an email within the above mentioned timeframes, then please contact us by email and state that you have not received an email yet.

Depending on the email servers that are being used, our emails may rarely be sorted into your ‘Spam Folder’, so please check there as well.

 

Q. Can I make an order by phone or FAX?

A. We only take orders from this website.

 

Q. Can I make a purchase from somewhere other than this website?

A. Currently we only sell our products on this website. In regards to selling our products in actual stores, we will let our customers know as soon as such a decision has been made on this website.

 

Q. I want to see the actual product before I purchase it.

A. We are sorry, however we currently only sell our products on this website. On the pages for each of our products we have images and details of the product, such as size. We have also posted pictures of our products on the image gallery page on our website, so please check it for reference.

Q. Can I cancel my order?

A. Cancellations are accepted only within 24 hours of ordering.

When canceling, send the following information by email. Please write “Cancel an order” in the title field of the email.

Upon a reply from us, your order will be cancelled. If you paid at a convenience store, we will not be able to refund the money to the store.

 

Q. Will you restock an item if it is out of stock?

A. Information regarding restocking can be found on each product’s details page. Please check there.

Q. Can I make an advance order?

A. We do take advance orders, however, due to the number of orders or because of circumstances while making the books, we may be unable to accept such orders. We hope that you understand.

After receiving your message, we will contact you with more information about payment. Please be advised we will only accept cancellations on reservations made within 24 hours of the time of reservation.

 

Q. Can I buy your products on layaway?

A. You can only use layaway (with simultaneous shipping) when you order a product that is waiting to be restocked together with a product that is already in stock. When ordering, please let us know in the notes column that you would like simultaneous shipping.

 

Q. Can I return or exchange products?

A. We are sorry, but we do not accept returns or exchanges of products.

We will only accept an exchange for an identical item if the item is damaged or destroyed upon delivery. If the item is not in stock, we will refund your payment after the item is returned. We will only be able to accept a return or exchange if we are contacted within seven days of the order’s arrival.

Please note that returns cannot be accepted in the case that the product is soiled or damaged due to negligence on the part of the customer.

Please be aware that in the event either you do not contact us, or send the return item to us before we contact you, we may refuse to accept the return.

 

Q. Do you do gift wrapping?

A. We do not do gift wrapping, however we do deliver our products in neat and careful wrapping. 

Please be aware the packaging method and color or design of the package is subject to change.

Q. How much will the postage cost?

A. It will vary depending on where it is sent. Details on the costs can be found on our shopping guide. Please take a look there.

Q. How much will import duties, value-added tax, customs and handling charges, and other fees cost?

A. Depending on the receiving country or region, customs duties may be charged separately. In addition, some regional postal services add an additional charge at a local level. In either case, please be advised that the customer will be responsible for all such charges.

 



 

Delivery information

 

Q. How many days does it take to be delivered from when I make my order?

A. If the product’s stock is secured, then it will be sent within five days after your order is confirmed.
 

Q. Have the delivery companies already been determined?

A. We will use Japan Post for both domestic and overseas deliveries.

The shipping provider may change depending on the size of the order.


Q. Will you ship to my country?

A. Please check the following page (Japan Post official website). We are sorry for that our products cannot be shipped to Europe.

Q. Can you tell me what the current delivery condition of my package is?

A. Once we send your order, we will send you a message.

 

Q. Can I change the delivery address?

A. To make any changes after your order has been confirmed, please email us. We can change the destination if you let us know before it gets sent. As we try to send your orders as fast as possible it may not always be possible to make any amendments, we hope that you understand. If you do make any changes, please check that there are no mistakes in the shipping address before you place your order.
When you contact us, please make sure to have the following in your email. Please write “Change the shipping address” in the title field of the email.

Q. I get the feeling that the color of the product shown on your website is slightly different to the real thing.

A. We are sorry for not being able to properly show the colors and hues of the actual product, however, due to things such as your devices settings, the colors of our products may look different compared to the actual item. We try to photograph and edit our pictures so that they look as close as possible to the real item, we hope that you understand.

 

 

Q. There is a place that I would like added to the series of Fudetabi.

A. We thank you for your consideration. However, we refrain from hearing such suggestions from customers. If you make a suggestion, we will understand that you agree to the following, we hope that you understand.

We are not obligated to keep the contents of the proposal a secret.

We are not obligated to consider, evaluate, or utilize the proposal.

If we create a product or plan that resembles all of or any part of the proposal, we will not be obliged to pay remuneration to the individual who made the proposal.
